Meet the dedicated people who work daily to help move the Feline Guardians mission forward.
Lena Anna Kuklińska
Community Director and Belgian Ambassador
I support Feline Guardians through strategic partnerships and capacity building. I served as the lead representative for Feline Guardians at a meeting with the Embassy of China in Brussels. I am part of Feline Guardians because I believe that organized and strategic action can rectify all evil. Victims of torture, regardless of species, deserve justice.

Creative Director
I am involved in content creation and web development. I joined Feline Guardians shortly after learning about this alarming situation on social media, hoping to help in any way that would be right to achieve our goals. I enjoy drawing and painting.
Yuri Gabriël
Dutch Ambassador and Lead Researcher
I joined Feline Guardians in early 2024 after learning about the horrible treatment of cats and other animals within China. My main areas are management, political outreach and analysis. During my free time i enjoy fishing, games and kicking it back with my 3 cats.
Balázs Gimes
Board of Directors
I oversee various aspects of the Feline Guardians organization and assist directly with research projects. I have extensive knowledge about torturers, their groups, and their material. In my spare time I like to read philosophy, especially about questions related to consciousness and the existence of God.
Lara Bruce

My years in animal welfare exposed me to abuse and neglect, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality of cat torture networks. This is an urgent issue I’m honoured to help confront with a wonderful team that I feel proud to support. Outside of this work, I use hiking and photography to recognise the beauty that is present in this world. I aim to help build a world where every cat can live a life they deserve which is full of beauty.

I joined Feline Guardians after learning about the threats made towards Hello Street Cat, which led me to see the situation in a very real and unfiltered way and motivated me to contribute and help make a difference. Outside of Feline Guardians, I enjoy watching films, going on short walks, and writing.

My name is Priya and I am grateful to be a part of the Feline Guardians team as a legal researcher. As a cat mom and animal welfare advocate, my heart shattered upon learning about the heinous, deliberate violence committed upon these tiny little beings. I follow the motto that once you are aware, you are responsible. We have a responsibility towards the most innocent among us to defend, protect and care for their lives as we would our own. I will use my legal background and experience to forever fight against cruelty and I implore the world to do the same. Now you know, and now you are responsible.

I joined Feline Guardians after becoming aware of these documented violations while seeking others committed to accountability and the development of protective frameworks for animals. I help with outreach and content creation. When I’m not working on making the world a safer place for animals, I’m entertaining my cats, playing laser tag, at the range, and visiting art and history museums.

Cruelty survives when it’s ignored. I use thought leadership and creativity to challenge that, turning awareness into action for animals without a voice.

I volunteer because I cannot accept that cats are subjected to extreme cruelty and abuse.
Supporting Feline Guardians in bringing this often hidden suffering into the light and helping to provide protection and a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves is a cause deeply close to my heart.

As Operations Manager, I oversee the day-to-day work and help ensure our mission is carried out effectively and efficiently. I am passionate about supporting our team and creating meaningful impact through our work. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming and cooking.

I have spent the past three years working diligently to help stop abuse, providing research and data. When I first discovered the abuse networks, I was appalled and knew I had to help make a difference. In my free time, I enjoy bicycling and spending time at the beach.

I joined Feline Guardians after learning about the abuse in China, which left me feeling incredibly helpless. My primary role involves research, writing email templates, and handling other administrative tasks, but I also help wherever I’m needed. When I’m not working I try to be in nature as much as possible and also with my cats.

A Message from the Founding Members of Feline Guardians
“As a founding member of Feline Guardians, I have had the privilege of standing alongside so many of you in the fight against unspeakable cruelty. This journey has forever changed my life.
I am deeply grateful for the companionship and contributions of every FG member—whether small or large—for the courage to face injustice and not back down. Like many of you, I have often felt alone in this work. Yet knowing there are others whose hearts ache for the same cause reminds me that we are alone together.
Millions in China are also carrying this mission, often unseen by the rest of the world. This cause crosses borders, and I am proud to have fought alongside people everywhere as part of a force that is changing history.
For personal reasons, I will be stepping back from active work with Feline Guardians. The admins in this server will continue carrying the mission forward, and I ask you to trust that important progress is not always visible, and more good news is yet to come. Every step is made with the best intentions toward ending cat torture in China.

“Feline Guardians began as an online movement to raise awareness of this crisis. As a grassroots initiative, our decisions were never made from a playbook — only through an honest effort to do what we believed was right, without knowing where that path would lead.
That early chapter was essential in bringing the issue to public attention, but it also showed us the limits of what passion alone can carry. Without formal structures, clear accountability, and the capacity to enforce standards and coordinate action, even the most committed movement can fall short of the change it set out to make.
That is why we are confident in entrusting leadership to the current team — one that has earned this responsibility through their expertise, dedication, and integrity. They bring the relationships, credibility, and strategic clarity needed to turn public concern into real, lasting change. We trust them not only to carry this mission forward, but to protect everything it stands for.
This cause has been the most challenging experience of my life. I am, however, deeply grateful for the privilege of meeting some of the most genuine and compassionate people I have ever known. One voice from an activist I deeply respect has remained with me throughout this journey:
